Have Some Feedback?

Ask yourself the following questions. If you answer YES to any of them you should contact me.

Is there something I missed? Is an article incomplete? Should there be a follow up article?

Did I make a mistake? Please tell me about these, regardless if it is spelling, formatting, grammar or content based.

Is there a topic you would like me to cover? If I feel I can do the topic justice then I will write about it. If I have to BS my way through it, then I probably won’t either way I will let you know.

Want to tell me how much you love The Ωmega Man Journal? I’m pretty sure my ego can handle it.

Want to tell me how much you hate The Ωmega Man Journal? Preferably honest feedback from real people and not from trolls.

Do you want to advertize on The Ωmega Man Journal? Price is negotiable and very affordable.

Do you want me to review your product? I have access to a laboratory and I know how to use it.  I can provide a real evaluation of the product, not just my opinion.

The best way to get a hold of me is via Twitter.com at the username @OMEGAM4N or post something on the Facebook fan page here.  If those options don’t work for you, try emailing me at agmcneill@gmail.com

  1. I have 3 @ 5000 gal (dark green) water tanks for storage. If the grid “was” to go down
how long will the water be safe and how can I continue to use this water since I do not have gravity water flow to these tanks. I have been told many different answers to these concerns

    • Those are great questions Charlie.
How long will the water be safe for depends on a lot of things. Are you sure the water is safe now? Also, what do you mean by safe? Bacteriologically safe is different from chemically safe and the treatments are not the same. All disinfectants breakdown with time and higher temperatures many don’t leave lasting protection at all. I have written a lot about disinfection methods in more detail in earlier articles. The specifics matter here because all the water could be unsafe in a matter of days, or it could be fine for weeks.
As for how to fill them there are battery powered pumps and pumps that use human power, however these will take a long time to fill a 5000 gal tank let alone 3 tanks. What would be your water source to refill them as that will affect your options.

  2. Thanks Omega Man for the info on the razor. I have never tried one, but I will try and pick one up sometime soon. I like you have been sucked into the consumer society since I was small. I have recently built a solar off grid home in southern Colorado to become more self reliant and even more recently published 6 eBooks that chronicle the experience. I will follow you soon on twitter where I also have a presence as well as Facebook. Thanks again. I will be back to read more.

  3. Hello,
What do you think of the eliodomestico solar water distiller? I found it on google and wanted to know where they could be purchased or a prototype could be homemade? It is supposed to be available for people in poor countries. Thanks for all your articles.

    Sincerely,
    Celeste
